Adopt a senior program for Massage Therapy
Michelle Lally has been a licensed massage therapist since 2007. After watching her mother's health decline to Alzheimer's, and losing her in 2009 she has dedicated her work to the seniors in our community. She has offered discounts to seniors working out of her own studio, in their homes, if they can't travel, offers massages out of the senior center in the Charles Mack citizen center since 2011.
" I saw how important taking care of yourself before you are ill is to. Massage helps with stability and range of motion, giving more strength and confidence to get around with less pain. If I can make just one senior have a better quality of life then I have accomplished my heart's desire and honored my mother"
Her are what some of her seniors have said about Michelle and her work.
"When you get to my age 80, people do not realize that we do not get touched very much, sure we get hugs at church and when family comes to visit, but we do not get touched very much other than that. Massage not only helps my body, but it also makes me feel like I am taking care of myself. I love massages" Margy
"What you spend on your heath now, allows you to save money in the future on medicine and surgeries. I get massages because it helps my balance and strength, these days I need all the help I can get" Helen 89
Michelle Lally has launched an adopt a senior program, allowing the community to adopt a senior and donate a massage to seniors in the Lake Norman Area. If you have a senior that could benefit from a massage or want to donate to the massage fund. This program will help many seniors get the additional body care they otherwise could not afford to get.
